Loved the mansion. Breakfast was great. Happy there was a bar on property. One of the employees (house manager) went out of his way to tell us about the house. House (which was the entire reason we stayed), was beautiful.

The pool is saltwater, which is always lovely. The breezeways and balcony areas were clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious, hot, well made, well seasoned, and well maintained EVEN THOUGH we came on a weekend when there was a large wedding party. The staff stayed very cool, collected, friendly, and helpful during what must have been an incredibly overwhelming weekend. I didn't get the names of everyone working in the kitchen for breakfast, and I wasn't about to stop them and ask for their names in the midst of the buzz of breakfast time, but they were wonderful. I'm sure they didn't get half of the thanks or credit that they certainly deserved. As for the front desk and bar, I DID get their names as my husband and I were celebrating his birthday before the wedding party moved over to the bar. Chelsea, Megan, and Alicia were absolutely wonderful, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant. They helped with information on check in, drink selection later in the night, and helped us avoid the crowd by telling us when the wedding was ending. (We wanted to be out of the way by then so the wedding crowd could have their space). Upon check out April was sweet as honey, and wished us safe travels. All in all this stay was beyond expectations in every way imaginable. Thank you!

I loved how clean the room was the first time we entered the room. I especially noticed how friendly the check in clerk was when I checked in, and checked out. Even when on the phone, they all had pleasant voices. We stayed 3 days, and this nice young man always spoke, Good morning, and asked if everything was ok, do you need anything, let us know. That speaks volume to me. I am so thankful to everyone for making us feel welcome during our stay.

The property was beautiful, clean, decorated well; it was was easy to get to our room and to breakfast. The mansion is beautiful. The room was clean and spacious. The parking was gated. The breakfast area was very nice and so was the check in and bar area.

Our room was in the main building so we were set back in time by this elegant, historical building. Every floor has been meticulously renovated and restored. Our room was tastefully decorated and quite large. The bed was also very comfortable. The setting of this buidling is within a nicely gated property that is very well maintained. An absolute plus are the staff at reception. We were looking for a restaurant in the old downtown and they gave us some excellent recommendations – not too expensive, something with a bit of history and something that would serve the local cuisine.

Breakfast inside an old victorian home, the last on the street and from a bygone era. The whole property i gated so it feels secure. Check in is always smooth. And the rooms clean and comfortable. A lovely place all around and our place whenever we stay in Anniston.

I can hardly say enough good things about the place. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The room comfortable. The staff was just wonderful. We loved having breakfast in one of the numerous dining rooms at the main house. It’s just a wonderful place to stay.

Without a doubt, the main attraction is the old house, restored beautifully. It would be a lovely venue for many special events.

Homemade breakfast is 8/10 compared to most area hotels. The owner is the best cook but the other cooks are good too. But he makes the best eggs, bacon, and potatoes.

Breakfast was great, the chef was also in charge of presentation of the dining area it was always clean, and well stocked. He was very cordial and polite when interacting with the patrons. Weekends he was alone and a human dynamo making sure that everything was just right. Thanks
